CLF

The CLF is still working hard to provide opportunities for both children and parents to be involved in.

Last term a successful bingo night was held where over £200 was raised. The Christmas Fayre also raised a large amount and this money will be used to restock the outdoor play equipment.

In addition the CLF organised a Christmas colouring competition for the children to take part in and orders of Christmas paper/cards etc was very successful with children designing their own cards etc to send out at Christmas.

The CLF meets every term to discuss events for that term. The dates of these meetings are posted on the CLF facebook page and all parents and carers are welcome to come along.

Caldew Lea Friends (CLF) is a group of volunteers who meet on a regular basis with the aim of supporting our school. Various events and activities are organised throughout the year with a view to raising funds as well as enjoying the social side bringing a local sense of community to the school. New ideas are always welcome.

Money raised benefits all of our children.  Donations have helped provide such things as the school stage, picnic benches, disco equipment, story sacks, the play house and the presentation of a dictionary to all our Year 6 leavers. We have also had bingo nights, raffles, quizzes and competitions.

Support of parents and carers is vital to the continued success of CLF and any help whatsoever is very much appreciated – why not come along to the next meeting.
